Excess of every thing is bad. 'Excess'is a subjective and relative term, still any thing that is beyond the needs of immediate future is excess for the individual concerned. Every one has his own excess defined.
This kind of technology might be useful for few but not for all. It is a double edged weapon. If technology lands in undesirable domain, it can cause havoc also and it will not be laughing matter. All those who create virus on computers are software engineers, and selling kidneys are doctors.
as long as we can control Technology as servant to Humanity, it will be an asset, and the moment technology is proceeding to replace humanity, it will be suicidal.
